November 28, 2022, NEW YORK – Modern Bank announced Jode Livingston has joined the Bank as a Vice President on the Commercial and Industrial Team. Jode will manage the newly created Birmingham, Alabama office for Modern Bank, covering the Southeast. He will report to Curtis Lueker, Chief Lending Officer and Head of Commercial Markets.

Mr. Livingston has been serving middle-market business owners and investors across a variety of debt and equity engagements for over a decade. Prior to joining Modern Bank, Jode was a Vice President with Founders Advisors, a boutique sell-side M&A firm focused on founder-owned businesses in the lower middle market. Before Founders, he worked as an Associate with Citizens Capital Markets where he supported the origination, structuring, marketing, and execution of institutional leveraged loans and pro rata bank financings for middle market clients (sponsor-backed, private, and public).

Jode is a graduate of Auburn University and proud native of Lowndesboro, AL. He and his family are currently based in Birmingham, Alabama.
